Our first A Wish To Wed’s wedding is a fact. It was a day of happiness and celebration of love. Kim and Andrew’s wedding at the Creekside Community Centre was everything we hoped for and more. It’ll forever have a special place in our hearts.
The wedding was emotional, with some tears (especially during the speeches), but most of all al lot of big smiles and happyness. It was all about celebrating love.
With this blog post we especially want to put all our volunteers in the spotlight, as we couldn’t have done it without them. They went above and beyond to grant this wedding wish! We’d like to thank all of them!
All the decor and the flowers were provided by Niche Event Stylists. Maria did a fantastic job and exceeded all expectiations!
The catering was provided by Fiesta Creative Catering, who not only cooked a delicious meal for all the guests, but they also went above and beyond to help us with other last minute logistics!
The DJ’s from Maximum Beat Dj got the party going, with a little help from the drinks from bartender Larry Sewell.
Andrew looked so dapper in his suit by Joey Dimz, while Kim’s gorgeous dress was donated by Everything But The Groom Bridal Boutique.
Officiant Paula from Contemporary Ceremonies made the ceremony very personal. Harpist Mehlinda Heartt from Harpistry played gorgeous music while everyone walked down the isle.
The fabulous teal wedding cake (teal, because Kim wanted to embrace the color of ovarian cancer awareness) with beautiful details was created by Cakes By Anjan and the colour matching stationery by Stationery Bike Designs.
Board members and makeup and hair specialists Tianna Tran and Neet Aujla from FaceAddiction created a gorgeous look for Kim, with makeup provided by La Bioesthetique and brushes by slmissglambeauty.
The event planner, who worked countless hours on putting everyting together and having a smooth running evening is our board member Jennifer from JG Weddings & Special Events.
Photography was provided by our board members Jelger and Tanja from Jelger and Tanja, Photographers, who will also be able to donate a beautiful album thanks to lifethreads albums pro!
Last but not least we’d like to thank everyone who donated their time and/or their money in the past year so we could make the wedding happen!
Also thank you The Province for the beautiful article!
