Last month, A Wish to Wed Society partnered up with Grouse Mountain to host a networking event for wedding professionals in the Lower Mainland.

Grouse Mountain is one of the top tourist destinations and a landmark in Vancouver. With only a half hour drive from the city centre, Vancourites and guests get a taste of nature, mountains and trees that define Westcoast living. Once at the top, Grouse Mountain offers many different indoor spaces and outdoor spaces suitable for hosting celebrations. You can find more information about their mountaintop venue on their website.

With a one of a kind view overlooking Downtown Vancouver, we can’t ask for a more fitting place to inspire meaningful conversations. Ideas were sparked, and the vision of AWW Society was spread. Many of the wedding professionals attending the networking event, decided to sign up as volunteer afterwards. If you are a wedding professional wishing to donate your time or services to AWW Society, please complete our contact information form.

The evening’s tone was a perfect mix of fun by Girl on Wax who volunteered to DJ that night. Also a special thanks to Lisa Lander Photography for capturing photos for the event.  Posy Florals provided some gorgeous florals and added the final details to the venue. And last but not least, a huge thank you to Grouse Mountain offering their unique venue and spoiling the attendees with delicious appetizers and drinks.
